Outdoor seating in The White Meatpacking District
The White Meatpacking District is protected and is therefore subject to special regulations and restrictions.
However, the rules for outdoor dining do not deviate significantly from the general regulations in the City of Copenhagen.

Application:
Applications for a permit for outdoor dining on Flæsketorvet must be submitted to Copenhagen Properties. Application is sent to tilladelser.kodbyen@okf.kk.dk. Use the application form at the bottom of the page.
You must calculate up to 4 weeks' processing time for your application.
Be sure to read the rules for outdoor dining in The White Meatpacking District before you apply. It is important that you adhere to the guidelines. In the event of a violation of these, Copenhagen Properties may choose to withdraw your permit. In the event of a withdrawal, it is not possible to reapply in the same year.
As a starting point, you can apply for a maximum of outdoor seating on sidewalks in your own facade length as well as inclusion of road area (max. 15 meters) in front of your lease - but never an area that exceeds your own facade length.
We need the company's nickname (name of facade), possibly. cvr registered name, CVR number, address and contact information of the responsible business owner in the application. In addition, we want to have 2 contact persons who can be contacted if necessary.
The application must also contain information about what furniture and number of them you want to set up, what type of screen you want to use, whether you want to apply for a serving counter (drawing / photo and description) and whether you want to apply for setting up an A-sign(s).
Remember to enclose a dimensional drawing that clearly shows which area you are applying for a permit for.
Permits are granted individually, taking into account neighbors, deliveries of goods, bicycle parking and other daily use of the outdoor areas.
Be careful to fill out the form and find and attach necessary drawings, photos, etc. The more informative your application is, the faster we can give you an answer.
Permission can be applied for to establish buried parasol base bushings. Permission for this is given separately. All expenses for establishment and possibly re-establishment is the restaurateur's own responsibility. The establishment takes place according to the guest principle, which means that the landowner can excavate area and bushings at any time without liability, if ex. sewer to be renovated on the area. Restaurateurs must also pay a deposit as security for any. re-establishment. Use the application form at the bottom of the page.

If you want to apply for outdoor seating in Høkerboderne, Kødboderne, Slagterboderne or Halmtorvet, you must use the application form at the Center for Byliv, as these areas are public roads.
